Unlocking access to credit is proving to be a game-changer for SMEs — fueling business growth by a minimum of 30%, and in some cases by as much as 4x to 5x, according to Skyro. Speaking at the Philippine SME Business Expo 2025, one of the country’s premier events for entrepreneurs and startups, Skyro shared new data showing how embedded financing is helping small retailers scale faster and reach previously untapped markets.
“Our data has shown that whenever we do a partnership with a
store, their sales volume goes up by a minimum of 30 percent. We help bring in
unique customers in terms of scoring because we’re able to provide them loans
that allow customers to avail of products,” explained Mike Tabaday, Skyro head
of SME.
Customers enjoy multiple benefits through Skyro’s seamless onboarding experience. Tabaday further explained,
“We provide a seamless experience to customers. All they need to do is download
the app online, apply for a loan, and then get approved.”
He also stressed that customers who
prefer to apply onsite can do so through Skyro’s partners nationwide. “We have

small local businesses, including those in rural communities.”

During the event, Skyro also mounted its booth that drew in
